Serviio

hi, since some weeks i have some problems with my serviio running at my ds211j.

The librery wont add some files and folders. the are named like all other files, and not on a special subfolder.

For the files, the obvious thing is that they have unicode characters in their names. When you installed my Java package, did you definitely use the DSM 3.1 toolchain file as instructed, or did you try to use a more recent one and rename it? If you did the renaming, then the unicode support probably didn't get installed right - hence your problem. You do need the toolchain 3.1 file.

I think i used your toolchain. this is what my java information says:

I solved my problem with the unicode letters by reinstalling java and serviio.

But the problem with my music folders still exists. Any idea what i could do?

Does the serviio user definitely have read permission to those folders?

yes, checked it again. and the serviio user has read access to all folders on the nas.
