On buying a NAS
I know there are a few projects out there to get Serviio running on some of the more popular bits of NAS hardware, but I wanted to check in with people on what may or may not be a good idea.
I'm currently looking at getting the QNAP TS-219P II. I'd previously liked the Synology 211+, but this thing is the same price and appears higher spec - 2GHz processor and all that (though I'm aware it's some ARM thing and not x86). Will Serviio run on it at all? With that processor and 512MB of RAM, what are the limitations? Will I get all the features I've come to expect from Serviio off my PC? Is there a better recommendation? I once bought an IcyBox as a NAS and regretted it every day until I threw it in the bin, so I'm wary of the cheap solutions.
