Missing folder within Series

I know that when you have tvshows added on SickBeard and there is no episodes captured that the folder will not show within the Series folder. My issue is when I have stuff within the folder and Season folders but it isn't showing up in the Series folder.
The program is Tosh.0
Folder is labelled as this: /mnt/thedrive/media/tvshows/Tosh.0/Season 2/ but I do not see Tosh.0 at all when I look through Series. The only way to see the folder is either enable Folders for browsing through or Titles.
I love how you have the Movies and Series and would just like to keep using these exclusively. Can you think of a way to have this folder 'appear'? I have also tried renaming the Tosh.0 to Tosh_0 but that didn't work.
Thanks in advance,
Haz
Cheer's and Beers.

I always verify all my series names on
http://www.thetvdb.com and if there are spaces in the name I put the files in a folder with the series name.

All of them should be correct as it is done through SickBeard when adding a show.
As seen here.

Serviio will change the file name a bit when it makes the search request. One of the things - it removes any dots from the file name so you'll end up with 'tosh o' which doesn't return any results on thetvdb.com. The only help now is to edit the record on thetvdb.com and add another alternative name to it (e.g. 'Tosh O'), it already has a few, so that it matches the search.

Thanks for the quick replies. Where are you seeing the alternative names? I have tried to register but haven't gotten an email confirmation from them for some reason.
One last thing to this I guess is how do you know it is a Series - I had for some reason in Movies section some Chapelle's Show icons so some shows were placed in there. Is it based on length, or that there is multiple ones of it? Or does it all get based upon the thetvdb.com

This is from thetvdb.com website on the Aliases....

Aliases aren't supported in the API yet, so no flexget shouldn't be seeing it.
