Got the specs for my NAS board..
Tiny is not the word 1mb flash rom & 16mb ram
Ive been digging, and found that linux & bootloader can be shoehorned into 1MB (wow)
so.. if i can get the 1mb version, can i load serviio into the 16mb, and run it from there, or can i get it to run from a usb stick in the machine

what take almost all the space is the files that you will be streaming using serviio.
- Code:
378 MB of memory or more (2GB recommended)
20 MB of disk space (plus additional space for storing library definition), when using transcoding make sure there is at least 1GB free (depending on the original file size)
Java 6 installed
You can try to run it from USB, but I think that 16 meg of ram will be way to low.

the 370 meg is ram, so if you use the usb memory it would probably be very slow. What is the model of the board.

the 375MB is based on having 15mpix inages in the library. Normally it runs at about 50MB which is still too much for your NAS.
