DSM 6.0-7321 Serviio not working properly!

After upgrading DS713+ to DSM 6.0-7321, Serviio ceased to function normally. After starting Serviio-package, disk loading was approximately 95% during the day, then I had to turn Serviio-package off and remove. Serviio literally hangs NAS, to the extent that external access to the NAS is interrupted and it is not available. This had happened before, if the function of create a video thumbnails is ON and working Download Station. Before remove the package, in Serviio-console I was try to delete my audio-video-photo directories and then add them again, but it did not help.
So, Serviio 1.6 didn't work with DSM6.0

Just as a point of reference - I am running Seviio 1.6 on DSM 6.0-7321 hosted on a DS1515+ and everything is working as you would expect.

Likewise, I also run Serviio on DS214Play which is Intel also and it's worked fine through all the DSM 6.0 betas and now the release version too.
Which Java are you using? Maybe that's the issue? I always use my own Java Embedded package, not the Synology full Java JRE.

I don't test Serviio managing my photos. If the library is huge, maybe that could be the problem. Could you test with just music and video perhaps?
Can you also connect via SSH and run:
  Code:
sudo -i

(put in your admin password, now you're running as root)
  Code:
/var/packages/Serviio/target/bin/ffmpeg

Does that work?

Yes, i thought the same. So I added only music and videos directories for test... Music directory beginning updated. But from the video directory no a single file was added to the database. All this was accompanied by a 95% loading drive a few hours, so that the server literally fell.

Music lib: ~9300 tracks
Video lib: ~4000 videos

Unfortunately, I have temporarily removed the Serviio package, because I did not manage to make it work. And secondly, Serviio and before this time, dropped the server down at the time when the Download Station downloading torrent with a lot of video files (for example, a full season of the tv show).

Ok, i just updated java to 1.8.0_91-0039 and Insall Seviio package 1.6.0-0029. Now added only 1 video directory with only ~200-300 files. Serviio began update database immediately :) Now disk load ~10-15%. That's what I think: Since my first message took some time, and Synology has released 3 updates, now i have DSM 6.0-7321 Update 3, maybe this a reason that Serviio began working?

P.S. I'll add another directory with many files ~ 4000 and then do what you asked for: connect with SSH, "sudo -i; /var/packages/Serviio/target/bin/ffmpeg;"

It may relate to the sheer size of the library. Mine is nowhere near that large. Then again, updates to Java could have improved things.

If your library is nowhere near that large, you can train on mine :D I am ready to report bugs and glitches. Moreover, I plan to double the library.
Now added all videos from main library ~3100 files. In addition it took about an hour. While Serviio works perfectly... thank you.

P.S: And when do you plan to release version 1.6.1 for Synology? :?

After add music files ~10,000 tracks, Serviio hung and loaded disc is 100%. Presumably Serviio experiencing problems with adding m4a audio files with high bitrate (1411-1536kbps) 24-32bits, 96-192kHz.

Ok, you may need to remove the music from the library, and experiment with adding certain types of file until you can narrow down the problem. Hope to get 1.6.1 out soon. Need to fix my CrashPlan package first though, since an upgrade has totally broken it. Serviio's the next priority.

I thought the same way and do it right now. I removed 5 albums m4a format (1411-1536 Kbps) and now look what is at out. I will write later...

Unfortunately, I couldn't find out the reason for such a high load of the NAS volume. It seems to me, that the point is not exactly in the types of audio files.
The load of the NAS falls markedly, if an audio files is less than 7000 in the library. But the size of the library is only half the problem...
The fact that a single application loads NAS to 100% for some hours, is alredy a problem. Adding files to the database and scanning media files really slow.

After Serviio added all the files to the database, it continues to work like this (the size of the graph exactly 1 hour):
