Serviio

Hello, i want to buy synology new DS215j whish is dual core 800Mhz 500MB RAM . I know its very new NAS released just week ago but i want to know if some developer can build for this NAS too.

i want to know if serviio will be able to run my mkv fullHD files on this NAS or i need more expensive NAS. My TV is Panasonic ST60 and now serviio works perfectly fine without transcoding with my PC. Can there be some problems with it? i use very often subtitles too.
i dont want buy NAS that will not work with my primari DLNA server (serviio).
If there is someone with DS215j please let me know

You don't need an expensive nas to share files. However it you need it to transcode because of limitations of your media player you'll need something more powerful. If your device supports native subtitles then it's a ok nas but if you need them burnt it and transcoding is then needed your need a better cpu nas. It would of course be far cheaper to but a media player with full native playback.

DS215j is supported in the 1.5.2 package.
