Console running in background and not showing up ?

Hello,

I look for the information on the different proposed places but, so far, I have not found yet the same problem.
Update : Hum, OK, I found the same problem :
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12397&p=76213&hilit=+language+console#p76213

The solution was, not same version of the console and the synology package...
The console is 1.4
The server is 1.4.0-0024
Same problem, similar solution ?

Serviio is installed on my synology (210j) and it works well.
To configure it, I installed the console on my computer (Windows 7, laptop HP).
And yesterday, it was working well.

But since this morning, each time I run the console, I have no message. Nothing shows up, nothing happens.
But, when I look in the task pannel, I have the serviioConsole.exe running (29.768K if relevant :-) ).

When I relaunch it, no evolution...

If I kill the process and relaunch, this is the log I have :
2014-01-09 23:04:20,320 INFO [ServiioConsole] Initializing Serviio Console
2014-01-09 23:04:20,344 INFO [ServiioConsole] Starting Serviio Console
2014-01-09 23:04:20,455 INFO [ServiioConsole] Connecting to Serviio REST on 192.168.1.201:23423

I uninstall java reinstall it...
I uninstall it, reinstall it (only the console).

I look in different forum.
And, here I am... looking for few hours and praying that maybe somebody has an idea how I can make this displayed instead of being in the background ?!?

Thank you in advance for your support

Laurent

Re: Console running in background and not showing up ?

Looking at the log again, I can see that I have a new line for some reason :
2014-01-09 23:11:44,271 INFO [Messages] Loaded console message bundle for locale: fr

That's strange because this configuration (choice of fr) was made before I reinstall it.
Does that mean that this is stored on the NAS ?
Does that mean that it is stored locally ?
Could it be the reason for the failure I'm encountering ?

Update : I follow recommandation to add debug information.
This is the message with debug I receive :
2014-01-09 23:31:40,159 INFO [ServiioConsole] Initializing Serviio Console
2014-01-09 23:31:40,178 DEBUG [ApplicationInstanceManager] Listening for application instances on socket 44332
2014-01-09 23:31:40,181 INFO [ServiioConsole] Starting Serviio Console
2014-01-09 23:31:40,245 DEBUG [SwingHelper] Choosing java look and feel: com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsLookAndFeel
2014-01-09 23:31:40,287 INFO [ServiioConsole] Connecting to Serviio REST on 192.168.1.201:23423
2014-01-09 23:31:40,287 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Checking if server is running

and then :
2014-01-09 23:32:33,732 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Retrieving console settings
2014-01-09 23:32:40,523 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Setting console locale to be: fr
2014-01-09 23:32:40,559 INFO [Messages] Loaded console message bundle for locale: fr
2014-01-09 23:32:40,559 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Reading application data

2014-01-09 23:32:48,207 DEBUG [ServiioFrameView] System tray is supported
2014-01-09 23:33:01,655 DEBUG [RepositoryView] REST error: Internal Server Error (500) - Internal Server Error

And this time a pop up from java : error 500 check traces...

OK, let's have a look to this recycle bin, I'll active one in synology...

Update : done : this is the new trace :
2014-01-09 23:37:02,355 INFO [ServiioConsole] Initializing Serviio Console
2014-01-09 23:37:02,375 DEBUG [ApplicationInstanceManager] Listening for application instances on socket 44332

2014-01-09 23:37:02,483 INFO [ServiioConsole] Connecting to Serviio REST on 192.168.1.201:23423
2014-01-09 23:37:02,483 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Checking if server is running
2014-01-09 23:38:26,489 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Retrieving console settings
2014-01-09 23:38:28,377 DEBUG [ServiioConsole] Setting console locale to be: fr
2014-01-09 23:38:28,409 INFO [Messages] Loaded console message bundle for locale: fr

2014-01-09 23:38:31,891 DEBUG [ServiioFrameView] System tray is supported

But still no interface visible

And then,
2014-01-09 23:38:47,131 DEBUG [RepositoryView] REST error: Internal Server Error (500) - Internal Server Error

OK, i'll check this on the forum... I'll be back...
