HOWTO: Serviio on WD My Book Essential 2TB
Hello,
My setup is as follows, I have WD My Book Essential 2TB USB 3.0 external hard drive, I have connected this to an Addonics 3.0 NAS adapter which then plugs into my router. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the drive by SSH or install serviio on it, I have searched high and low but have had no joy. I am running Windows 7 64 bit, and I am a noob when it comes to linux but am willing to give it a shot. I got so frustrated last week I nearly threw in the towel for a WD mybook live. I have lots of media in mkv format which my Sony Tv can no longer see as I've moved all the content to the external HD.
Appreciate anybody's guidance on this.
