1.4 upgrade problem
Hi,
My Synology NAS informed me there was a package upgrade from 1.3 -1.4 available...
Now knowing the issue i had before where i had a 1.xx console on the PC and a 1.3 server on the NAS, they would no see each other and i got the classic
Serviio console not started - exiting message
So when i checked, i had 1.4 available for the NAS, and an upgrade on the PC to 1.4 ... great !
However the NAS upgrade was fine, but the PC side of things has gone pete!
I downloaded and installed the 1.4 package, restarted, and edited the Vmoptions file to lead to my NAS on 192.168.2.250
The console starts, but has to be opened manually via the icon (no click to open) but when i go into the console it still says 1.3
and serviio is no longer showing as a server on my NAS
Just had a thought and will reboot the NAS , but is the serviio console correct at 1.3?
Yup a NAS reboot has updated the console to 1.4 pro eval
Need to add a one liner to the package page ------ Reboot your NAS
