Serviio

Hi,

Trying to get my Panasonic DMP-BD75 to stream files from my Windows Vista PC using Serviio. I have set up the software by adding the IP address of the player but I can't get it to work. The player is connected to the net (did an update) and I can see it connected to the router (on the PC) but I think I must be missing the last step to get the player to see the PC.

I've also tried Mezzmo and WMP11 but still no luck.

I've been at this now for 2 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it's driving me nuts.

were did you add the ip of the device ? if you mean in the bound IP field in serviio console that need to be IP of the pc running serviio not the device.

I have now set the IP address of the player in the RENDERER profile box and the IP address of the PC in the bound box, is that right?

yer can you do me a screen shot of the console page please as im not sure what your saying.

It still says "Cannot connect. Please confirm Network connection and settings" but the connection test passes all stages and I did an online update when I first set up the player.

The IP ending in ,71 is my PC as seen by the router and the IP ending in .81 is the Panny as seen by the router.

yes that worked.

ok so you still havent got the right profile selected and i see what you mean by the set the IP in renderer, can you remove the renderer again and then restart serviio (quickest way is to restart pc running serviio.

leave the bound IP as it is for now.
