Hello,

As the topic tells i cant get the .srt subtitles to work for my movies.
Im neither using a TV. I have a projector synched with my home cinema system that supports ethernet.
(The brand for the system is: Philips HTS5590)

I get the movies to work, but thats it. I've tried to mux the subtitles aswell, but aint getting it to work. Neither does the movies WITH a subtitle INCLUDED in the movies working. Im guessing my home cinema aint support DNSL? Or what it is called.

Is there any way to pass this even thought my system aint supporting "subtitle-mode" ?

Subtitles are not a part of the standard, so each manufacturer has their own implementation (if they do). I don't think Philips devices do.

However i tried the profile "WDTV LIVE" and got the subtitles working. Its a big question mark over it tho. Couse subtitles on every movie aint working. And it seems that only the movies that i've downloaded that COMES with a subtitle included work.

included subtitles... what do you mean? embedded in the file or external srt?
