Panasonic DMP-BDT215p or 210 Blu-ray player

I have tried many different things. The standard DLNA client does not see the file with .mkv extension, even though it says they are supported. I utilized the Network Drive function, and it will connect about 20% of the time. I am using Windows 7 ultimate 64x. I have to put the files into the Public folder, because file sharing in general doesn't really work. Windows 7 file share options change on me, So when the network drive stops working, I have to spend an hour digging threw the operating system to identify whats been changed.

I installed Serviio.

It sees the Files threw the DNLA Client on the blu-ray player, but will not play them. "Cannot play"

I'm a noob at this stuff, so go easy on me.

What am I missing?
