Which method is best for streaming DTS to Sony 580

Been using Serviio now for a few months now. Awesome and easy to use.

Small problem though.

I have a Sony 580 Bluray player and I want to stream DTS audio.

I read in the 2010 Sony Blu Ray thread, that I can either use TSMuxer OR change the code as described in the thread.

I am using a wired ethernet connection for the BluRay and have a higher end TV and high end audio system so I want the best possible quality when streaming.

Was wondering which method will give me the best quality result?

Most of the files I will be streaming are 1080p and DTS audio.

thanks

Re: Which method is best for streaming DTS to Sony 580

Hi,

I am not sure about how similar is the 580 player to the S370, but with my S370 when
playing MKV files with DTS sound (both USB and DLNA) I receive an
"Audio format not supported" message and after that the sound plays OK.
When I press the information button it reads something like
"DTS 5.1 xxx 1.5 Mbps"

Is this expected behavior?
