Hello,

I have a terrible problem with my KDL-60EX705. It isn't possible to connect from the TV to the Server and I don't know why. I set up a Serviio server on a win 7 system x86. I shut down the firewall on this system. But it woulndt work.

The network status on my TV shows OK so i think the tv is ready to recieve the Serviio server.

Here i will post my Log. mybe someone can help me with my Problem.

Suggest to fix all IP address
- Router 192.168.1.1 (look at the DHCP router configuration, DHCP area start from something like 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.255)
- PC with Serviio 192.168.1.2 on the Ethernet Interface used to stream (wired is preferred), if the PC use a second Ethernet interface (wifi,etc.), set the IP bound field on serviio console with the proper value 192.168.1.2.
- TV Sony 192.168.1.3
- other 192.168.1.4 .. 192.168.1.19

Device with automatic IP mecanism will have 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.255

All IP maks are 255.255.255.0 and DNS with 192.168.1.1(router)

I have changed all my network configs to them which you told me.

192.168.2.1 router Gateway and DHCP
192.168.2.2 Servio PC an I bound this adress at the console.
192.168.2.3 Bravia TV KDL-60E705
192.168.2.4 second PC.

But all changes have no effect.
In the console of serviio the TV isn't listed, so i have to add it manually.

Good start, but still have 10.1.117.28 in the log file, what is this device?
On the router Gateway DHCP, what are the options (IP range, start IP, end IP,etc)?
Do you have a firewall on your PC with serviio? Make sure you open TCP 8895 and UDP 1900 ports in firewall.

Clear the serviio console device list and restart serviio service.

That was the ip Adress of my first network.
But the network did no longer exist.

The firewall of my win7 x86 pc is off for all 3 kinds of networks.

so the Port 8895 an udo1900 can pass through.

I cleared the Serviio console and restarted the Service but nothing changed!

Should i set up a new Windows7? But this thing i did early this morning.

I forgot one thing to say.

I tried nearly 15 differential servers and i got no connection.

like PS3 Media Server, Windows Media Server ?

"Renderer Function" enable
"Renderer Access Control" to on

Home --> Network --> Renderer Set-up
"Automatic Access Permission" enable

Sorry for beeing late i had a meeting with the head of our firm.

Yes for example nero media, twonky, ps3, windowsmediaserver, wildserver .....
But the tv cant see anything.

Thax for that post i have all funktion enabled and disabled but nothing happened.

At the moment i enabled all like you wrote in that post bevore.

Could you try direct RJ45 connection between PC and TV. Check your cable connection too.

I tried it and it works very well!
The problem i had was definetly the switch!
Sony Bravia isn't able to connect with inmac isg-1008II Switch

For the final test i choose a cisco switch and it works perfeclty.
