Sony BDP 370 photo issue

When i view a group of pictures (holiday pictures taken from a sony dsc-tx5) it will show them and a thumbnail which is great, however sometimes it will just decide not to show the picture, just freeze and and look like its still loading. Sometimes hitting pause and play let me get to the next photo sometimes not, sometimes stopping and selecting another picture works. I've also notice that when i go back to view a picture i've already viewed in the same session it sometimes wont let me..

Any ideas?

OK i have found exactly what type of photos are not loading but dont know why they dont load, hopefully someone will be able to help me figure out if its serviio or the BDP 370 etc

The photos that are not loading are all taken on my sony dsc-tx5 and are in portrait mode. You just get the loading symbol in the right hand corner of the TV. All photos taken in landscape mode work fine. I can see the thumbnail on the portrait picture just fine too.
Also all my other portrait pictures from other sources work ok, is anyone aware of any photo limitations for the bdp 370 or serviio?

You could only play with profile option, change values true/false (you have to restart serviio service after changes)

  Code:
<AutomaticImageRotation>true</AutomaticImageRotation>
<LimitImageResolution>false</LimitImageResolution>

Thankyou Illico,

I changed <AutomaticImageRotation>true</AutomaticImageRotation> to FALSE and now it will show my portrait files and display my files in slideshow mode without freezing.

I think the default profile should be updated with this?

FWIW an example file that wont play when this is set to TRUE have the following EXIF

Good, but does Sony BDP still automatically rotate portrait and landscape pictures?
I confess to not having fully verify this before...

All 200+ photo's with a mix of portrait and landscape all displayed the correct way in slide show mode with setting set to flase, so i can only assume that the Sony BDP does rotate them correctly.

Zip, I think we could change Sony Bravia and Sony BDP profiles with following (or remove):
<AutomaticImageRotation>false</AutomaticImageRotation>
