Can't play AVI files on Sony DBP-S570

I can't play several .avi files, here's the info:

Not sure h264 video codec under avi container were supported by S570.
Could you try to add this in the Sony BDP profile?

Did as you told me but Serviio would not start. Found the following in the logs:

Now, if I just rename those files to .mp4 would they work??


Edit again: found the error, should be vCodec... will try correcting that.

Ok, Serviio started fine, went to the TV and it's displaying the following message:

"The file is damaged or not compatible" (prints the message in spanish, but that's the translation)

Well, I've tried with several other things and they didn't work.

But its strange, because 2RefFrames with 640x480 is a low resolution profile (2 or 2.1)

You could try this tool to only change the profile to 4.0 on h264 header for example:
