Sony SMP-N100 or BDP-S370?
I don't need the Blu-Ray player.
I do need a streamer which will do iPlayer and DNLA to an OLD non-HD Widescreen CRT TV - ie NON-HDMI. (Composite or Scart)
So I seem to settle on either Sony SMP-N100 or BDP-S370. Both seem to do the job.
I see lots of comments about people not having success streaming MKV among other things to these boxes. Is one better than the other? Any thoughts on which one is most likely to be updated more in future?
Am I correct in thinking that most of these MKV streaming type problems can be solved by using transcoding in Serviio?
Any relevant thoughts, experience much appreciated.
