Problems with New BDP Profile

I had been using an older version of Serviio with a profile for my Sony BDP 570 that was kinda created by users on this forum. I believe that the profile was a little bit of hack job, but it did work for 99% of video files that I tried. I recently updated and was happy to see that my device is now supported by Serviio by default. Upon installing and using the default profile for my device I was shocked to see that only 2 of my 30+ video files will appear on the DLNA device menu. Those 2 work fine, but the rest of my files are not showing up. They are in the same folder so I do not think it is a configuration issue. It seems to be a profile issue, since that is the only thing that has changed.
I am probably just missing something. I attempted to dissect the profiles myself but it is beyond my skill level. The new one has a lot more information than my old one.
It is a US based player. Is it a region issue? Can anyone point me in the right direction (or share their edited profile) so that I can play my files again.
Thanks

I did read that post, but it only addresses stuttering issues, audio and subtitles. My question relates to the fact that videos that used to play fine no longer show up as playable files.
Maybe I am missing something in that original post?

Could you provide "ffmpeg -i" result of your file (see signature link : Provide details of an unrecognized video file ) ?

BDP-570 here. Same issue - used older profile fine but now none of my AVI files are showing. Should I just resort to the prior profile for the BDP 570?

no problem with the profile. I checked the device list and it was oddly very long. Seems somehow multiple instances were being logged for devices and this may have been the issue. I removed ALL devices and then when the BDP-570s (I have two) reconnected they worked perfectly.
I apologize for my lack of knowledge here (though I am above average in terms of computer savy) and I jumped to a conclusion.
I will monitor the devices section and see if this again begins to grow quickly...
Thanks for the prompt reply and again sorry.

Can you please provide the solution.
I have the same issue with the Sony BDP 570, some files are showing up, the mp4 but not the avi's, wma and mkvs.
I did not understand the last post on what was done.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

clear all renderers from serviio console and restart serviio service and console.
