AVI files not recognized

Hi all,

Serviio (Windows XP SP3 / ubuntu 10.10, Serviio 0.5) runs fine in general, streaming recordings from mythtv to my SONY KDL32EX705 TV.
:D

Now I got some TV recordings from a friend, which are not listed on y TV....
:o

I did read through the Serviio web page, and will post some output of tools, which may help to determine the reason. I hope, somebody can help.

Hi All,

the files are listed now.

I missused the add local and add path in libary tab of serviio console.

On my XP Client (running serviio) , I had mapped a remote folder on my ubuntu (providing the tv recordings, running mythtv)
In serviio (on XP Client) i used add local and used mapped remote folder.

Now AVI files are recogniszed.

Sorry....

Unfortunately, mentioned file C:\Programme\Serviio\lib>ffmpeg.exe -i "z:\video\StiegLarson\Stieg_Larsson__Verblendung_Millennium_HD_Teil1.avi" (see below) cannot be played. the error message "Serververbindung nicht möglich" is displayed.

I will open a seperate thread, because this is a different issue.

I think, opening a new thread is better, because the new thread with subject matches better the disscussed error messages.

I hope you agree to me.
