Hi, This is my first post.

Thank you so much for creating and supporting Serviio. I have found it easy enough to use, and very effecient running on an old Pentium 4M laptop.

Until I upgraded the Sony BDP-S570 firmware to m04.r.752. Now files, videos and music, that previously played don't. The player simply says, "there is no playable file." The notes for the upgrade didn't mention any changes to DLNA.

Note: Serviio has never had to transcode any files streamed to the s570, and I doubt P4M could handle it anyway.

I am running Serviio 0.5 and using the latest Sony Bluray Player (US) profile provided in these forums.

A bit of Googling seems to indicate that others have had a similar experience, but no solutions are given.

I have installed the Intel UPNP tools. The only two commands the s570 seems to support are X_GetStatus and X_SendlRCC. I do not know what perameters to pass to get any return data.

Any ideas?

I got it working. I cleared both the Renderer Profile list in Serviio and the s570s Connection Server list. Refreshed the Renderer Profile list. Changed the profile from Sony BD Player (EU) to (US). Shut the Serviio server down, , restarted Serviio, Shut the Serviio server down, via the bat file, restarted Serviio. Refreshed the s570 list. It works now.

I updated the Sony firmware over a week ago, and hadn't used Serviio until today. Guessing some connection parameter on the s570 was bad.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial on using dlna, and where to get files to test... as I have not found any files that Serviio needed to transcode. Thanks!
