Ubunto and Serviio

I am running Ubuntu 10.10 and serviio. I got everything to work however I am only able to play the first 35 minutes or so of my movies. The same movies via windows played fine. Is there a special setting that I need to set since I am using ubuntu ?

Re: Ubunto and Serviio

I did search could not find anything on my issue. I have Ubuntu Installed fine and its streaming movies. I am just having problems playing the entire movie as its limiting me to 35 minute.

Re: Ubunto and Serviio

If you have followed that tutorial exactly, you should havent no problems at all unless.

its the file itself that is the problem, have you tried with more than one file ?

have you made sure you have selected the correct profile for your renderer?

your next step is to provide a few bit of information:

Enable DEBUG in the log file and post it here so it can be checked for errors. (see signiture for howto)

Provide an FFMPEG -i result for the file that wont play. (see signiture for howto)

Provide detailed information on what setup you are running.

Re: Ubunto and Serviio

its the file itself that is the problem, have you tried with more than one file ? The file is fine and plays perfect via Windows 7 and Serviio

have you made sure you have selected the correct profile for your renderer? The profile detects my player as the EU model when in fact its the US model. If I change this to EU files wont play. If I set it to USA it works fine.

your next step is to provide a few bit of information:

Enable DEBUG in the log file and post it here so it can be checked for errors. (see signiture for howto)

Provide an FFMPEG -i result for the file that wont play. (see signiture for howto) Files do play they just dont play the entire show. first 35 minutes or so

Provide detailed information on what setup you are running.[/quote] Ubunto 10.10. Java 6 SErviio 0.5

That would sujest to me that serviio is not correctly installed. As i said in my first post make sure you have done ALL the step in the tutorial.

and please post these too:

Debug log ( see my signiture for howto)
ffmpeg -i ( see my signiture for howto)
