I am suffering from stuttering on m2ts files with HD audio. I believe I need to change the socket buffer? How do I do this please?

Thanks but I need it spelling out a bit more if possible

I'm not the most computer literate.
Any chance of a step by step please?

For windows users:
- Edit [Serviio_Install_Path]\bin\ServiioService.exe.vmoptions file with Notepad
- You will find this line "-Xmx384m"
- Add this line "-Dserviio.socketBuffer=<number of bytes>" with <number of bytes> default value is 65536, you can change value
- Save file.
- Restart the Serviio service
- Check on [Serviio]\log\serviio.log logging file if socketbuffer change

Many thanks.
I have accessed the file and added the line -Dserviio.socketBuffer=<100000> but the log file does not update?

I have the same problem with a KDL-32EX500.
I tried setting the socketbuffer to 262144 and then 33554432, that didn't seem to change anything.
The serviio log confirms the setting were applied.
here's the ffmpg -i output for the file :

Could you check the average and peak video bitrate of your file with that tool :
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2133 ?

This file played nicely today, even over wifi !
I'm wondering if the fact I had a download running on the disk when I tried it yesterday wasn't responsible for the stuttering.
Or maybe some other processes were slowing it down...
Anyway, I'm very happy to be able to play 1080p over wifi now

Good, but I think you'll have stuttering with such movie, 25Mbps its a very high bitrate for Wifi
