Serviio

Well actually it does but only when my TV power is cycled off and on again
In other words my TV detects it fine serviio detects my TV fine only serviio stopped prompting my TV to connect to it

Before when serviio started my TV would prompt me that serviio connected to it I have a Samsung TV (LN32C550)
IT always worked fine and out of the blue it just stopped working. there are no changes made at all t anything btw
and I have serviio running on the exact same computer and OS via multi boot via my second HD and it still works fine

I'm baffled I've tried everything opening ports , disabling firewalls antivirus nothing fixes it and besides on the other OS install it has no issues
and both OS are win XP and setup exactly the same use the same hardware and config same router and connection and network.
Only difference is one boots from C: and the other boots from D: and both HD's are the same brand, size and format

Have you setup static IP addresses for the computer that serviio is running and the TV?

Did you install a windows update?

How are you dual booting?

Do both OS's use the same IP address?

Both versions of windows xp are mirror images and are running on identical hardware and settings including identical network settings.
they both run the same antivirus and firewall settings as well. In fact my 2wire modem/router can't even tell them apart as they both have the same hardware id/profile

I boot the second OS by booting D: instead of C: manually in my bios

the only difference is different data stored on the drives it self but both OS's are identical aside from one does not have any issues (yet)
Both OS's are both up to date to today and are using the exact same drivers

this happened to me as well with 0.6-0.61 but 0.62 seemed to have fixed the issue but all of a sudden it came back again and without any reason.
the only thing that happened was that I rebooted my computer If I turn off my TV and turn it on again my TV detects Serviio and it run fine til I reboot again
The problem is that Serviio service is not adverting itself to my TV anymore like it used to and I did notice and error in my logs it could not do so and will retry
which it does but it just can't successfully do so any more in the past if I deleted everything and did a clean install everything would work again til one day the
very same issue would happen again

see attached and btw thanks for helping me the only difference I noticed is that this one does not have bound ip set and it auto sets it to 192.168.2.14 instead of 192.168.2.10
I don't understand how that happened but most likely because I updated /re installed ver .62 and forgot to change it back but one thing is for sure its not my router / firewall / hardware as both are exactly the same but for some reason the server does not advert to my TV on my main one even though it did flawlessly before
