				Hello,
I am perfectly able to stream my media to my Samsung TV using Serviio. However, subtitles do not work at all.
For example: watching a DVD on my Mac using VLC, I can select subtitles. Watching the DVD via Serviio on my Samsung TV (UE55D7000), I am unable to select subtitles at all. Audio can be changed if multiple audio exists on the DVD, but subtitles not.
Can anyone be of assistance please?
Peter

DVD subs are not supported. You'd have to extract/download the subtitles to an external .srt file

Thanx man! Been able to do that. But under what filename do I need to store the .srt file in the VIDEO_TS folder in order to be regognized?

Ah, ok. I assume you have many .VOB files in there, right? That won't work, as the srt file is for the whole movie and not just its part. The only solution would be to join the VOB files into 1 mpeg file (there are some tools to do that, even mentioned on this website) and then name the srt file with the same name as the video file, but .srt extension. You'll probably lose the multiple audio tracks support though, unless you find a tool that can mux everything together in 1 file and the TV can play it.
